Practitioner Terms

These terms apply to every practitioner listed on OccultSaathi, on a paid plan (OSP, OSP Plus), a free trial, or a listing included with a NumberWise course. They add to the general Terms of use and the Privacy policy. You accept them when you tick "I agree" on My Practice, or when you keep your listing live after we send them to you.

"We", "us" and "OccultSaathi" mean NumberWise, trading as OccultSaathi, GSTIN 09CVXPS7316B1Z0, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. "You" means the listed practitioner. A "seeker" is anyone who finds or contacts you through OccultSaathi.

1. What we provide, and what we do not

1.1 OccultSaathi is an online directory. We show your listing (your card, and on OSP Plus your profile page) so that seekers can find and contact you.

1.2 We are not a party to any consultation. Everything you agree with a seeker is between you and that seeker. This includes the advice, the fee, the timing, how the session is held, and any follow-up or remedy.

1.3 We do not promise any number of views, enquiries, call-backs or clients, or any income. Figures we share, such as the factsheet, "My month" or a projection, describe what has happened. They are not a promise of what will happen.

1.4 The order in which listings appear changes, as set out on the site. Your place is not fixed or guaranteed.

2. You are an independent practitioner

2.1 You are independent. You are not our employee, agent, partner or representative. You may not say or suggest that you are.

2.2 You alone are responsible for:

  • your advice, readings, predictions, remedies and services;
  • the fees you charge and collect;
  • your conduct;
  • your taxes, including GST where it applies;
  • any licence, registration or qualification your work needs.

2.3 We review a listing before it goes live, for example by looking at a certificate or a social media profile. This check is limited. It is not a guarantee of your skill, your advice or your results, and it does not make us responsible for them.

3. Your listing

3.1 Everything you give us must be true, current and your own: your name, photo, practices, experience, credentials, links, fee and description. You must have the right to use any photo or content you send.

3.2 You allow us to show and adapt this content (for example resizing or cropping a photo) on occultsaathi.com, in link previews and in OccultSaathi's own promotion, while your listing is live and for a reasonable time afterwards in material already published.

3.3 You must tell us promptly about any change, such as a new mobile number or a practice you no longer offer.

4. How you must deal with seekers

4.1 Be honest, respectful and professional.

4.2 Do not guarantee outcomes. Do not promise marriage, a job, recovery, wealth, the return of a person, or any other result. Do not use fear, threats, "curses" or urgency to pressure anyone into paying.

4.3 Do not give medical, psychological, legal or financial advice that you are not qualified to give. Never tell anyone to stop medical treatment or medication. Do not advertise or offer any remedy as a cure for a disease or condition (the Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act, 1954 applies).

4.4 Tell the seeker your fee clearly before any paid session starts.

4.5 Contact a seeker only about the request they made, and respect the time they chose. Do not call late at night unless they ask you to.

4.6 Do not ask a seeker to pay OccultSaathi for your services, and do not use our name in your payment details.

4.7 Follow all laws that apply to you, including consumer protection, information technology and data protection laws.

5. Seekers' personal information

5.1 When a seeker asks for a call back, we share their name, mobile number, concern and preferred time with you on My Practice. You may use these only to respond to that one request.

5.2 You may not:

  • save these details into any list for marketing;
  • add the seeker to a broadcast or group;
  • share the details with anyone else;
  • sell them;
  • contact the seeker again after they say no.

5.3 Once you hold a seeker's details, you are responsible for how you use and protect them, under India's data protection law (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023). Delete them when you no longer need them for that request. Requests on My Practice are deleted automatically after 30 days.

5.4 Keep your My Practice password private, and do not share your login. You are responsible for anything done with your login.

6. Liability and indemnity

6.1 Your responsibility. You are fully responsible for:

  • every consultation, service, remedy or product you provide;
  • any statement you make;
  • any claim, complaint, loss, damage, injury, penalty or legal action arising from those, or from your breaking these terms or the law.

6.2 Indemnity. You agree to protect and compensate NumberWise and OccultSaathi, our owners and our team, against any claim, demand, loss, cost (including reasonable legal fees), fine or penalty that arises from:

  • your services or conduct;
  • your listing content;
  • your use of seekers' information;
  • your breaking these terms or any law.

6.3 Our limit. As far as the law allows:

  • we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of income, clients or reputation;
  • we are not liable for anything a seeker says or does;
  • our total liability to you for anything connected with your listing is limited to the listing fee you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

6.4 Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

7. Fees, trials and refunds

7.1 A paid listing runs for 12 months from the day it goes live. Moving up to OSP Plus is charged for the months remaining, and does not change the end date.

7.2 All fees are non-refundable once paid, including when a listing is suspended or removed under section 8.

7.3 A free trial lasts 10 days. It is offered once per person and per mobile number. It ends automatically, with no grace period, unless you choose a paid plan.

7.4 Fees, plans and features may change for new purchases and renewals. A change never affects a plan you have already paid for.

8. Suspension and removal

We may pause or remove your listing, with or without notice, and without refund, if:

  • your information is untrue or misleading;
  • we receive genuine complaints about you;
  • you break section 4 or section 5;
  • you harm seekers or OccultSaathi's reputation;
  • the law requires it.

Where it is fair to do so, we will first tell you and give you a chance to respond.

9. Our name and content

OccultSaathi's name, logo, design and text belong to us. You may share your own profile link and say that you are listed on OccultSaathi. You may not use our logo in a way that suggests we endorse your advice, or present yourself as speaking for us.

10. Changes, notices and law

10.1 We may update these terms. We will show the new date at the top and tell you on My Practice or by email. If you keep your listing live after a change, you accept the updated terms.

10.2 We send notices to your registered email or WhatsApp number.

10.3 These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the courts of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
